MISS CORINNE
DIRECTOR

Miss Corinne began dancing at the age of 5. She has studied Tap, ballet, pointe and acrobatics. At Age12, she went into
New York City, taking daily classes in ballet with the Russian American Ballet School ans was instructed by Carlos Peterson, ballet master at Radio City Music Hall, and Tap with Henry Letang (Instructor to Gregory HInes, Savion Glover and choreoegrapher to the Broadway shows On your Toes, Sophisicated Lady, and the movies Taps & Cotton Club.) After many years of studyng dance and voice, Miss Corinne went into the theatrical world appearing in theatres, night clubs and television from coast to coast as a featured dancer.
Miss Corinne has never lost her love of dance! She thoroughly enjoys working with
her students on a daily basis from beginners to advanced. Miss Corinne has made the Jacto Dance Studio a fun, nurturing and family environment that will continue to grow on Broadway.


Miss Nicole

Miss Nicole starting dancing at age 3. Since then, she has continued to pursue her education and training in dancing. Miss Nicole is certified in teaching ages 2 thru 7 in Tap, Ballet and Jazz. She brings her fun and unique way of teaching dance to all her classes. It is always Miss Nicole's priority to have a enjoyable environment for all of her students! She has been a dedicated teacher to Jacto Dance Studio for over 15 years. Her Love of the arts runs in the family! Thanks Miss Corinne!


Miss Melissa
Miss Melissa’s love for dance started when she was 3 years old and would “rather be dancing” than anything else!  She has over 20 years of training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip-Hop, Rhythm Tap, Kickline and Pointe.  Miss Melissa was awarded the “Town of Islip Award for Performing Arts” at the age of 11 and achieved several Top Places & Awards in Regional & National Competitions for her own performances & choreography.  At I.M.T.A., a Modeling & Performing Arts Convention in NYC she was awarded two “Top 3” Places for a Jazz/Hip-Hop Solo & a Runway Competition after competing against more than 300 girls in her age category.  She creates a fun & light hearted teaching atmosphere and can’t wait for this year to start!  Miss Melissa is excited to be teaching at “Jacto Dance” & looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with you!

Miss Dana has been teaching for a solid 8-9 years and dancing practically her whole life.  Hip hop is her passion.  She has been on a traveling team from the ages of 13-19 and competed in many competitions all over the east coast.  She has also taught some of the company classes which travel and were award winning teams, as well as teaching regular weekly classes of hip hop, jazz, pom/kick and preschool combo classes.  When she finds the time she goes into the city to take classes at Broadway Dance Center and also works part time for a DJ company, dancing.  She is very creative and always looking for more opportunities to use her choreography for anything , whether its competitions, shows or just to have an upbeat class where you can let loose.  Her classes are just all about having fun and sharing her love for dance, the essentials of the hip hop style of dance and the music that goes along with it.
Dance has been Miss Justina's passion since she was 3 years old. She has learned how to do ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, calestetics, acrobatics, pom/kickline and cheerleading from many different teachers. She now attends Dowling college where she is studying to become a teacher in both English and Special Education. In high school Miss. Justina was the captain of her dance team for three years where she choregraphed dances for things such as games, competitions, and marching band festivals. Miss Justina coached cheerleading for three years as well. She also participated in other performing arts such as singing and acting where she performed in shows such as 42nd Street, Fame, and Oklahoma. When it comes to handling kids Miss Justina has no problem, considering she has 5 other siblings ranging from ages 1 to 16  years old. Miss Justina hopes that her students will have fun in class as well as understand the steps in the dances. Her love for teaching of all ages and all types of dance will continue to grow and Miss Justina will never stop dancing.

                                                   Miss Briana

Miss Briana is an honor student at Massapequa High School and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.  Since the age of three, she has studied dance at Jacto Dance Studio.  She now takes ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and pointe classes dance classes each week.  Briana also enjoys playing the violin and plays in the high school symphonic orchestra.  Briana is very involved in the Character Education committee at her school and participates in community events to raise her peers’ awareness of having empathy for others.  In her spare time, she loves to read novels and see movies.  Briana enjoys the opportunity to share her love of dance with the little ones she teaches.  


Miss Allie is a sophomore at Hofstra University, where she is a mathematics education major and dance minor.  Allie has been dancing since she was 4 and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern.  Allie has attended numerous dance conventions and master classes, including Tremaine Dance Conventions.  She has performed with the Community Dance Ensemble from New London, CT for 6 years at nursing homes, hospitals, Walt Disney World and Hershey Park.  Aside from dancing, Allie is a coxswain on the Hofstra crew team and loves to travel.  Allie is thrilled to share her passion for dance with the Jacto family.
